Thanks for visiting Weigold Photography on the web. I dare say 2011 has been a challenging year for Weigold Photography and we’re trying to roll with the punches. In addition to supplier issues and challenging schedules, one of the biggest issues we’ve had to deal with is the economy and it’s affect on our business. We had high hopes for our store-front location on Cincinnati Dayton Rd, but we found that the location just didn’t provide the type of business needed to handle the overhead of such a location. Whether that was due to the economy, the location or both is unclear. Add to that the fact that Weigold Photography has always operated on a “by-appointment” model not intended to compete with walk-in studios the likes of those in chain stores or at the mall, and it became clear that a reorganization of our operation was in order.
As such, as of September 1, 2011, we’ve moved our business operations to a quiet suburb of Hamilton, Ohio and will be continuing our service with a “by-appointment” model. We do still offer an on-site studio, just not one intended for unscheduled visits. We will continue to provide the same products and services and will happily meet with customers and shoot both at our location and at our customers locations. Our event, wedding and portrait services are unchanged and we will be offering pick up and delivery on our DVD conversion and scanning services.
