Thanks to everyone that visited DogFest 2009 this past weekend at VOA. The event was a huge success and we certainly appreciated all those that visited our booth as well. A portion of each and every sale of DogFest related images is going to help support PAWS. We’ll have the images from the event up on our site soon, so please check back shortly!

Be sure to visit our booth this weekend at DogFest 2009 at the Voice of America Park in West Chester. The event as well as proceeds from our booth benefit PAWS, the Progressive Animal Welfare Society in Middletown. PAWS is a non-profit no-kill shelter.

It is with significant dissapointment that we announce that Weigold Photography will not be providing photography for the SOCCS 2009 Round Four race at Full Throttle Racing and we are currently evaluating the benefit of continued support of the series. Despite the fact that we have been the series photographers for several years now the facility owner has made other arrangements for photography for the event. We learned of this only today while trying to determine availability of power at the site for the race Sunday. We have not been made aware of what photographer(s) will be providing service, so for images from that race, participants will need to contact the race coordinator or the site owner.
Weigold Photography wishes the participants the best of luck at the race.

Weigold Photography is pleased to announce another two sessions of the course “Digital Photography for Kids” in conjunction with the Middletown Art Center. Here’s the class information from the MAC website:
KIDS DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY – Grades 3 – 6
Instructor: Steve Weigold
(4 week Terms)
T3.Y7A – Wednesdays: 6:30-8:00 – Feb. 18, 25, Mar. 4, 11
T3.Y7B – Wednesdays: 6:30-8:00 – Mar. 25, Apr. 1, 8 , 22
Tuition: $50.00 each Term ( must supply own digital camera, spec sheet available if needed). Come join us for an interactive hands-on photography experience geared toward children. Children will start with camera familiarization and move into topics such as basic composition and lighting, image storage, computer connection and obtaining prints.

Hi Everyone!
Thanks for the patience! As you have probably seen, we are starting to post events, both new and older. Please note that this is a new format of posting for us, so we may have some bugs to work out. This new format allows us to provide easier to see and use thumbnails as well as larger preview images. For those of you who’ve asked for these features in the past, we hope you enjoy the new format. Please continue to bear with us until we get caught up on our posting backlog. There are a bunch of images!
To order an image, simply click on the “Order this image!” link at the bottom of the image. You’ll be taken to an order page where you can specify the size and add it to your cart.
For now, special items like image editing and collages will need to be ordered manually. Eventually, we’ll have methods on our site to do this. If you are interested in special edits, or products other than prints, please send us an email or give us a call and we’ll be happy to help out.
